A Reson 8160 MBES has been purchased and installed on the hull of the MV Neptune. The Reson System was selected as the MBES of choice following Neptune’s experience with the system but it has been in use on the MV Poseidon for over a year. The purchase of the system will allow Neptune ehf to offer an improved level of service to its clients and expand the in-house capabilities of the company. The MBES provides bathymetric data of depths up to 3000m.
