A Reson 8160 MBES has been purchased and installed on the hull of the MV Poseidon. The Reson System was selected as the MBES of choice following Neptune’s experience with the system while it was installed on the MV Poseidon on a rental basis during her previous project. The purchase of the system will allow Neptune ehf to offer an improved level of service to its clients and expand the in-house capabilities of the company. The MBES provides bathymetric data of depths up to 3000m.
